The Connecticut Bach Festival celebrates the timeless beauty and richness of Johann Sebastian Bach’s music — a legacy that continues to inspire musicians, teachers, and audiences around the world.

Our mission is to promote Bach’s artistry through teaching and performance, while upholding the highest standards of musical education and artistic excellence.

The Festival offers students opportunities for learning and growth in a positive, supportive environment through recitals, adjudicated festivals, and competitions. We also strive to foster goodwill and friendship among professional music teachers, creating a community united by passion, respect, and a shared love of Bach’s genius.

This is event is produly sponsored by the Hartford Music Teachers Alliance.

In the competitive divisions, selected winners will be invited to perform in the Winners Concert one week later as part of the Music at the Red Door Concert Series at St. John’s Episcopal Church.

Through every note and performance, the Connecticut Bach Festival honors Bach’s enduring message: that music has the power to elevate, connect, and inspire.
